Check out Winston's new hiding spot! While momma works, Winston likes to hide under the couch. The only way I know where he is are the snorting, panting, and other mysterious noises that are a dead giveaway!

Graduation Day!

Winston and I are sad to report that today concluded his training with our incredible Carrie Castro. He did a fantastic job and is learning to sit, lay down, stay and come! We have thoroughly enjoyed our time with Carrie and look forward to more training down the line, maybe he'll be so good that he'll become a show dog....uh, maybe not. Thanks Carrie for giving Winston's momma her sanity back!

Winston started his private training sessions about a month ago, and his four lessons with Carrie (our favorite trainer) have been the best four weeks since I got Winston. There's Cary (the man) and Carrie (the woman), both are great! I'm telling you, this woman is a miracle worker! If you have a hyper pup like I do, check them out, it's the best money ever spent.

We're Back!

Ok, so some of you might be wondering, "where's Winston?" Well, he's back. We took a little summer vacation from blogging, but he's here to share all of his funny stories, new clothes, treats, and wonderful dog antics.

grandma joanne and aunty victoria must have given me lots of water cuz i just peed A LOT. i'm looking forward to the weekend cuz taryn is gonna take me to the dog park, fashion island, and i might even see the beach. yay! i love my oc life. but i sure do miss my momma chelsea!

this is my first dogblog as winston's new friend. my job as dog-sitter just took on a whole new role as i sit and watch him hump and make out with his dick stick thing. he's making forward/back motions on your rug, chelsea. good thing he's neutered!
we just took a walk and he proceeded to drop a big load in a shady spot next to a uhaul truck. oops, welcome to the new neighbors!!
otherwise, all is well here in turtle ridge. it's quiet but we're loving it! winston says "ruff!"

History of the Bully Stick

A bully stick, also known as a "beef stick" or pizzle, is a dog treat made from a bull's penis and dried. Often they are braided. They are favored by many people over rawhide bones as they are healthier and safer for dogs. Bully sticks are good to clean dog's teeth and are very enjoyable for the dog.

Yesterday, I spent $38 on bully sticks.

Leaves

Today I took Winston for a walk. He ate four leaves, chased two lizzards, played with one snail, and barked and two Chiuaua's.

Angelino

Winston visited the city of Angels this weekend.  He is quite a posh pug.  He drove up in a Rolls Royce and spent the day relaxing in a Brentwood condo.  His favorite aunt Victoria took him for a stroll along the streets of Brentwood and of course he let the city know that he was there, by leaving his poop along the way.

Winston visits with his new auntie, Lauren.  She bought him two new toys: iPet and PetBerry, he loves them!

Little Lampshade

Winson was neutered on Tuesday and is now ball-less. He has to wear a cone for 10 days! Everyone told me that neutering clams them down, I say...liars! Even with the cone, he runs around like a maniac and the Benadryl prescribed my the Vet does nothing. The cone makes for a lot of laughs though since he can't climb the stairs without getting stuck. He also likes to save his food for later in his cone, as he runs around the house, little pieces of kibbel come falling out.

Meet Sir Winston. Winston was born on November 27, 2007 and is currently 12 lbs. He enjoys chicken, playing on the grass, eating paper, running, biting his mom (aka me) and chewing on his bully stick (a bull's penis).
